2010 Parish Mission Prayer

Merciful and Compassionate God, we thank you for your great love for us, and all the blessings you have bestowed on this church. We now come together as a parish community to beseech your Heavenly Grace for our upcoming parish mission. May our retreat be a time of spiritual awakening to your Divine Mercy and your love for all mankind. Let this opportunity for growth expand past our church walls and into the world, so that we may fulfill your command to spread the Good News to all creation. Give us the strength to stand and be counted among your disciples, always seeking to share your Light with those around us. Please bless our mission speaker, Fr. John Larson, and fill him with your Holy Spirit, so that he may communicate with us your message of mercy. Guide the hearts and minds of those assisting in the preparations for our Mission, that they may be guided by that same Spirit that burns with love for the Church.
