Fr. Lee has always supported Catholic families who wish to provide a solid Catholic education for their children. In the past he has directed funds to provide scholarships for needy Catholic students to attend local Catholic schools. This year Fr. Lee is focusing this support to Emmanuel families who have students in Catholic schools or are home schooling. Specifically, the program helps with expenses for tuition at a Catholic school or expenses for home school families including: books, workbooks and other educational materials; tuition or fees for home education support services such as enrollment in Seton or Mother of Divine Grace; and tuition or fees for expanded educational offerings through co-op programs to include math, science, art and music classes. The amount of financial support per student will vary each year depending on the proceeds of the trust that supports this program and the number of children that are eligible to apply. To download an application, please click here. You may submit the application by mail or in the Sunday offering basket.

Dear People of Emmanuel,

I have neglected to update you on my situation, so now I will give you a few reflections on what is happening: the radiation treatment is over, and I have begun physical therapy again. This will last a few weeks.

Thank you for your gift of prayers and good wishes and be sure of my prayers for all of you. May the Lord strengthen you all during this Easter Season. I am not sure of when I will return to Emmanuel. It is a long drawn out process, hopefully in a reasonable amount of time. I thank all of the priests who have substituted for me over these 4 months.

Peace and Joy,

Fr. Lee
